Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 May 2026
This page explains what information V-52 collects when you use this site, why, and what your rights are.
V-52 is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. For any privacy question, write to [CONTACT EMAIL].
What we collect, and when
When you confirm you're of legal drinking age, we set a cookie on your device so you don't have to confirm again on every visit. The cookie records only a yes/no flag and an expiry date. It contains no personal data.
When you fill in the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit. That information is sent by email to [CONTACT RECIPIENT EMAIL] and is not stored in any database on this site. We may keep the resulting email in our inbox until the conversation is concluded and then a reasonable period for our records.
We do not run analytics or advertising trackers. We do not profile visitors.
Why we collect it (legal basis)
- Age confirmation: required by law to verify you're old enough to view content about alcoholic beverages. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- Contact form: to reply to you. Legal basis: your consent, given by submitting the form.
How long we keep it
- Age-gate cookie: [NUMBER] days, then it expires automatically. You can clear it any time via your browser.
- Contact-form email: kept in our inbox while we're in touch and for a reasonable period after, then deleted. We do not pass it to third parties.
Cookies in detail
This site uses two kinds of cookies:
- Age-gate cookie (set by V-52): stores your age confirmation so you aren't asked again. Strictly necessary; no consent banner because this is essential to comply with alcohol-advertising rules.
- Session cookies (set by the underlying Concrete CMS platform): only set if you log in as a site editor. No tracking; expires when you close the browser.
We don't use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
Third parties
- Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from
fonts.googleapis.com, which means Google receives your IP address when the fonts are fetched. We don't share anything else with Google. - Email transport. Submitted contact forms are sent via our mail provider to [CONTACT RECIPIENT EMAIL]. The provider sees the email envelope (from, to, timing) as is standard for email.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
Your rights
If you're in the UK or EU, you have the right to:
- Know what data we hold about you.
- Have it corrected if it's wrong.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Object to processing or restrict it.
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO).
To exercise any of these, email [CONTACT EMAIL].
Changes to this policy
If we change it materially, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, flag the change on the site.
